How to Draw An Eiffel Tower. Built-in 1887, the Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower in Paris, France. Today, it is still one of the most famous landmarks in the world.

Also, check our cats coloring sheet.

Let’s face it: we all dream of seeing the Eiffel Tower up close one day.

Each complete guide comes with a detailed illustration. Whether you learn better through words or pictures, we’re sure you’ll be able to draw an Eiffel Tower with the help of this tutorial!

The funnest part of this tutorial is that you can customize the drawing any way you want! You can use a unique color set to make the Eiffel Tower more vivid and colorful.

Let your creativity run wild and release your internal creativity! With this all-encompassing drawing tutorial, you’ll have the mesmerizing Eiffel Tower at your fingertips!

How to Draw An Eiffel Tower

Step 1

Starting in the middle of the paper, draw three narrow rectangular shapes of different sizes to outline the three platforms of the Eiffel Tower.

The top rectangle should be the smallest, while the bottom one should be the largest.

Make sure the Eiffel Tower is drawn in the center by drawing an intersecting horizontal and vertical line on the paper to create reference lines.

You should draw all three platforms on the vertical line in the middle of the paper.

Step 2

On either side, below the first platform, create a diagonal leg by drawing a pair of parallel diagonal lines with a horizontal line at the bottom.

This leg is the base that supports the entire weight of the Eiffel Tower.

Step 3

Draw two parallel diagonal lines between the first and second platforms to create the tower legs on the second level.

Step 4

Finish the shape of the Eiffel Tower by drawing a texture on the top layer of the Eiffel Tower. Just draw parallel vertical lines, slightly curved at the bottom.

Ensure the legs are perfectly aligned on each level to structure the Eiffel Tower proportionately. If drawn correctly, the legs should form a capital “A,” as shown in the diagram.

Step 5

At the top of the Eiffel Tower, draw a semicircle with a short vertical line across it.

This creates the distinctive figure at the Eiffel Tower’s very top.

Step 6

Add criss-cross motifs in each leg bottom.

Cross patterns can be created by simply drawing multiple diagonal lines that intersect.

Step 7

As you can see, the details of the second level differ from the details of the first level of the Eiffel Tower.

But don’t worry, creating this pattern is as easy as 1-2-3! It’s simply a combination of a vertical line and intersecting diagonal lines.

Begin by drawing a vertical line in each leg in the second layer. Next, draw diagonal lines that intersect on the vertical line. And that’s it!

Step 8

Details on the top level are identical to those on the lower level. Draw more diagonal lines that intersect and form a letter “X” along the length of each leg at the top.

After completing this step, the detailing on the legs should be incomplete in all three tiers of the Eiffel Tower.

Step 9

As we have already completed the models of the tower legs. In this step, we now work on the models on the horizontal platforms.

Draw several parallel vertical lines in each of the platforms. Repeat this step until all three platforms have a similar pattern.

Now that we’ve successfully drawn an Eiffel Tower skyscraper, it’s time for the funnest part, choosing colors and coloring your drawing!

Because the Eiffel Tower is made of iron, it is natural brown color has changed over the years. It started red-brown and later turned yellow-brown. You can color the Eiffel Tower exactly as it is or choose your unique color set.

Your Eiffel Tower Drawing is Finished!
