Getting back to the main topic, let’s discuss the game 123 movies sonic 2. In the game, you will find several important characters like Sonic, Knuckles the echidna and Dr Robotnik. You will also find special stages and subplots.
Knuckles the echidna
Almost as popular as Sonic himself, Knuckles the Echidna is a fan favorite character of the Sonic series. In the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Knuckles is a character who acts as a rival to Sonic, but also as a friend. He is a warrior echidna who has superhuman strength and speed.
Knuckles is a member of the Echidna Clan. He has a red and peach furred coat and a white crescent-shaped patch on his chest. His knuckles have spikes, and his eyes glow red when he uses chaos energy.
Knuckles was raised as a warrior amongst his echidna tribe. He was later introduced to other lizards, and stumbled upon a hidden city of Albion, where he found many other echidnas.
Knuckles and Sonic were best friends. However, Knuckles was angry at Sonic for saving him. When Sonic was a little boy, he asked Knuckles, “Where is my Master Emerald?” When Knuckles refused, Sonic told Knuckles that heroes take responsibility for other people.
Dr Robotnik
Probably the best Sonic the Hedgehog villain, Doctor Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik is the arch nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog. He was designed by Naoto Ohshima, who also designed the Sonic games. Originally intended to be an Earth-bound, music-obsessed dictator, Robotnik’s ill-advised quest to conquer the world with the Master Emerald was eventually foiled by Sonic the Hedgehog.
Robotnik is a sadistic scientist, who uses Sonic’s quills to power up his robots. He also has the “smarts” to create a huge robot replica of himself. The robots are able to fool people into doing what he wants.
In the comic book series, Robotnik appears as the main character in a series of short stories called “Sonic the Hedgehog’s Mean Bean Machine.” He is also a central character in the animated cartoon series.
Subplots
Unlike the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie, which was a remake of the Sega Mega Drive game, the sequel is much more focused on the lore. The film features a slew of characters, including Knuckles, Tails, Tom and Maddie, along with Idris Elba as Knuckles and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik.
The main plot of Sonic 2 revolves around the hunt for the emerald. It’s not a particularly exciting story line, but it does offer some lessons for family viewers. The film is a surprisingly long two hours and two minutes.
Aside from the aforementioned emerald-hunt, there’s a lot that doesn’t work in the sequel. There’s a silly subplot that doesn’t make sense, and a trite moment that’s not only out of place, but also feels pointless.
Special stages
Getting through Special Stages in Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was a popular pastime. Special Stages are levels outside the game world that have a special significance.
Special Stages are located in different dimensions, including floating continents. Often, these stages feature a complex structure. They can be accessed through the Giant Ring and through Goal Plates. In order to access these stages, you must first complete the main game.
These levels are designed to require precision. You must jump into the correct star circle above the Star Post to complete the stage. You may also be given bonus rings if you pass through glowing sections. These aren’t necessary to complete the stage, but they do increase your chances of completing it.
Some of the Special Stages in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 use a very clever way to get you through. You can gain access to Special Stages by collecting 50 rings. Another method involves collecting the Chaos Emerald.
Voice acting
Throughout the years, Sonic the Hedgehog characters have been voiced by various people. Some of the biggest names in the industry have voiced characters in the series. Other voice actors have gotten overlooked for big name roles.
The #NewDeal4Animation movement is raising awareness of the unequal treatment of voice actors. One way to change this is to get studios to pay voice actors equally. This will help the socioeconomic conditions of voice actors in the American entertainment industry.
In the early days of Hollywood, voice actors were largely uncredited, and were treated as disposable mimics. Often, women would voice young male characters. Now, studios have begun to take a more equal approach to voice actors. This could help to elevate them to a higher place in the entertainment industry.
