A married Connecticut lunch lady, Andie Rosafort (31), has been accused of grooming a 14-year-old student on social media before sexually assaulting them in her SUV. According to police reports, Andie Rosafort began following him on both Instagram and Snapchat and eventually sexually assaulted him after months of follow-ups on these platforms.
He reports that she asked him for his address to pick him up before driving them together for a short distance where they made sexual contact with each other. At which point, he felt uncomfortable, got out of the vehicle, and returned home.
How did she get in touch with the victim?
Andie rosafort, 31, worked as a cafeteria aide at the middle school where the victim attended and is accused of engaging in sexual encounters with him between eighth grade and high school enrollment. Rosafort is believed to have initiated communication with him via text messages when she first entered high school – continuing even after entering senior year.
According to an affidavit filed by police, the victim reported that she would message and ask him whether he wanted to see something before sending nude photographs of herself. She further reported recording his football and basketball games before sending these video clips directly.
On Jan. 13 at a party, Rosafort messaged him and asked him to meet her. When he agreed and got into her SUV, Rosafort drove a short distance while having sexual contact with him while in it – eventually making sexual advances towards him before ending the encounter and leaving. Once finished, he felt unsafe so left the car.
What happened?
Andie Rosafort was arrested after New Fairfield schools filed a complaint and state police initiated an investigation in February, following which she was charged with second-degree sexual assault, computer-enticement of minors and risk of injury to a child.
Police report the victim told them she had been communicating through social media private messaging for some time with Rosafort, later identified in court documents as an adult female. Pictures and videos had also been exchanged. On Jan 13, Rosafort requested his address so she could pick him up before driving a short distance away in her SUV, where they made sexual contact before the teen felt uneasy and returned back to his house party, according to state police reports.
Teenagers told friends of an SUV-driving lunch lady with questionable behavior who was also seen acting weird. After her friend told their father about it, who alerted authorities, the 31-year-old former school employee resigned her part-time position due to these accusations and left.
How did she get him into her car?
Andie Rosafort worked as a lunch helper at New Fairfield Middle School. Her role consisted of helping the children prepare their food without making them sick – yet, at some point her job went too far; she was arrested for sending inappropriate images to one of the children she worked with.
The 14-year-old victim told police she and Rosafort had been communicating through private messages on social media for some time, exchanging sexually explicit videos and photos with each other. On September 2022 he received his first nude photo from Rosafort; when asked if he liked it he answered in the affirmative and she sent another.
This 31-year-old former lunch lady was arrested after school administrators received notification from a parent of one of the victim’s friends that she was engaging in online luring, endangering minor welfare, and second degree sexual assault – though Fox News Digital wasn’t given an opportunity for comment from either party involved in the matter.
What happened after?
Once the school system received reports regarding potential inappropriate messages between Andie Rosafort and his victim, an investigation began immediately. Once his father learned of what had occurred he immediately alerted school authorities as well as police for assistance.
